You Can Too! | About Me

I'll start with the people of Peru, who are truly this colorful and equally friendly. These descendants of the Incans live a hard life at high altitude in the Andes Mountains.

The Incans worshipped the Andes Mountains, often building their homes and temples in nearly inaccessible places high in the Andes Mountains. Note the face sculpted into the side of the mountain, shown in one of the photographs. Similar sheer cliffs of the Andes Mountains contain four story tall dwellings, which seemingly have no access.

On these pages, you'll see photographs of Cusco, Peru, Ollantaytambo, Peru, and Pisac, Peru. There are also photographs of the Inca Trail - my trek in the Andes, and photos of Machu Picchu - one of the most beautiful places on earth. There are also photos of the Amazon River and villages and people in the Amazon basin. I hope you enjoy these photos of Peru.

Yes, claws and jaws, but it won't bite and it can't walk away. (And yes, it did taste like chicken). This is Cui, a delicacy in Peru.
